Doin’ It In the Park: Pick-Up Basketball, NYC
A documentary by Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Couliau, co-produced by 360 Creative. New York City has over 700 playgrounds, the largest concentration of playgrounds in the world, 500,000+ players and well over 8,000,000 stories to be told. Last summer, we visited a few hundred courts in all five boroughs of NYC to document the building block of basketball: Pick-up ball. We’re still shooting some b-roll this summer but should have the film wrapped up and completely edited by November. Scheduled to release early 2012. Check our Facebook page for updates:
